Camp AAJA participant Mindy Lee shares her experiences at this program:
Camp AAJA was truly a life-changing experience. Not only did I met and bond with an amazing group of journalists, but the retreat opened my eyes to so much more. From evaluating different kinds of leadership styles to learning about the other chapters to getting tips on how to recruit members and plan events to dancing in the street at a music festival and drinking sangria with 25 new friends, the entire experience was a blast! Did I mention it was held at the Poynter Institute (talk about a cherry on top)? I'm very honored that AAJAz selected me to attend Camp AAJA. I can't wait to see all my new friends at Unity this summer!
